I picked out 4 fat quarters with purple in them (I just LOVE the color purple!)..
Nancy that I work with at the quilt shop taught me step by step how to paper piece. She is so very talented, and I was so honored to have her show me the ropes. I just love learning new techniques. I am not a quilter YET, but hope to be one day!
I guess you can say I am a "piecer" :)

Great job on your quilt square. I also love purple. I too am trying to find time to see if I can get into quilting. I noticed ad for "Patchwork Party 2008" in a quilting magazine I picked up a week ago and have decided to order the 12 kits for the 12 squares for this. They are starting to arrive in my mailbox. Now just to find the time to become friends with my 1/4 inch presser foot.
