Consider the Lilies pages 8 & 9 complete!

I finished Stitching pages 8 and 9 of Consider the Lilies by Heartstring Samplery . I have decided to make a few changes. I stitched a bird motif in place of a potted plant. I found this bird motif in a Brenda Keyes Ultimate Sampler Motif Book. I am enjoying this Sampler Journey!

Ive started something new. English paper piecing!! Its so very addicting, and great fun. 😍

Yuletide Blanket finish!

I finally finished crocheting my Yuletide Blanket. designed by Lucy of Attic 24. I love this blanket so much! it will be perfect to snuggle under during the Christmas season. kit can be found at Wool Warehouse in the UK online.

Sew By Row!

I've waited for the frames to go on sale half off at Hobby Lobby to pick this one up. Finally laced and framed (by me). Sew By Row by Lori Holt. Stitched with DMC threads on 32 count linen which I dyed rose quartz (Rit dye). I'm so very excited to have this hanging in my sewing room! 😊

Updates on Consider the Lilies

I have just completed stitching page five of Consider the Lilies by Heartstring Samplery.
I had a wonderful day out today with my stitching friends! We went to a needlework shop, and then lunch. I picked up two new charts, and a piece of linen. I have so many projects waiting in the wings to do. ive joined an online sewing club (Clover and Violet). It is a lot of fun!

Spring Blanket

Ive finished crocheting my Spring Blanket by Lullaby Lodge. I decided to make it a lap sized one. I used all colors of special aran yarn except switching the cloud color to bluebell. All yarns purchased from Wool Warehouse. This is one of my most favorite finishes!

I've been stitching on Consider the Lilies by Heartstring Samplery. I just finished page four. I am loving this piece so much!
I also sewed some new zippered pouches for my projects
I added pockets inside the big project bag, and a handle. getting together with some stitching friends soon. I cannot wait! Louise ❤️

Displaying my work

Put some of my samplers onto my quilt ladder to admire them. I think I need a sampler ladder just for them. I will frame them one day. They inspire me to do more samplers when I have them on display! 😊

I have just finished stitching Friendship Sampler by Birds of a Feather. I love this piece so much! 😊 Stitched 2 over 2 with DMC threads on 32 count Belfast linen which I have tea stained.

Almost March!

I cannot believe that Spring is almost here. I look forward to it arriving! I am thinking about Saint Patricks day, and baking Irish Soda Bread. I have been keeping busy as always, and needlework and sewing are always at the top of my list. I have a few needlework pieces that will be ongoing, as they are so very large in size. I will post pictures of things I am presently working on, or have finished, including stitched pieces, and crochet. If you are still visiting me here and reading my updates, thank you so much! I know many of you who stop in are following me on other social media...as it seems blogging has fallen to the wayside. Now onto pictures of my works! This airplane design was found in an old magazine, more pillowcases Ive sewn, and the last picture is Dream House by DMC...I finally finished this after starting it when our children were little...many years later, it is finally finished! This is a pretty full post for now, and I must be moving along to get some things done today. Perhaps I will try to post again one day soon.
