I blinked my eyes....

And it happened...
My little girl is growing up! Her 5th grade graduation is tomorrow..where have the years gone.
I baked cupcakes for her class for the last time..
I am a bit sad. I so enjoyed baking, sewing, crafting, and doing so many things for my children while they were small. Time has gone by way too quickly. I wish I could have kept my children little. It won't be before long, they won't need me as much anymore.
I will love them forever..........

Keeping Busy

I have decided to begin crocheting blankets for my children..one for my son in Greens...
one for my daughter in many bright colors. These will be for their new rooms in our new house.

Working on an old UFO!

Dream House/ DMC Freebie from many years ago

I have always wanted to finish working on an old UFO that I had. It is DMC's "Dream House".
It is a WIP that I have had for years. I always thought I would finish it when I would be living in my own dream house. We are moving into a new home in North Carolina soon...
It is time to take up this old project and finish it...then, to find a place of honor to hang it in our new home :)
