Hello all

I have started this year off with trying to be more organized. Taking time for my health (eating right and exercising), and taking time for my stitching too. I have a plan to stitch at least one ornament a month for our Christmas tree. I have taken a great interest in Santas, so this will be my ornament theme :)
Here is my first one, small, but still a santa nonetheless. This is a freebie by Nikyscreations. So cute and primitive!
I recently was blessed by winning a giveaway from Nan Lewis of Threadwork Primitives . I stitched this piece up fairly Quickly and put the heart together which now hangs on our bedpost . Love this design! Stitched on 32 count Olde towne blend linen with the gentle art sampler threads Cinnamon and wood trail colors.
And here is the completed piece:
Isn't it darling? I am in love with it!
I have started a new stitch along. This design is called "America Land That We Love" by designer Jean Farish. I purchased this amazing design from
Her Etsy shop so I could join in the fun!
This is a big design with all of the states of America on it. The land that I love! Each state has something to stitch that represents that state. I am excited to bea part of this SAL on Facebook! Here is my beginnings of what will be...
And here is where I make my stitching happen...my little corner of the world with the new OTT lamp my husband bought for me! It is wonderful. It has a magnifier and chart clamp, and a tray that attaches to hold all my needles, scissors and such. It even came with the pincushion attached.

I am one happy lady:)

Wishing you a weekend full of stitches,
Louise ❤️

  3. Your finished heart piece is looking wonderful.
I also stitch the Jean Farish project but I started it a long time ago and it has become a UFO. But this year I want to revive it. I have about half of the states finished.
